Broadcast media booking platform:
2014 Commonwealth games
Tinint were engaged to provide a system for the 2014 Commonwealth games, enabling worldwide broadcasters to specify and order the facilities/equipment needed for their individual transmissions. This encompassed elements from floor space, and satellite time, through to infrastructure specific to individual filming locations for set periods.
The challenge was to provide an accessible, simple to use system for the end user. Taking into account over 5000 individual items, reporting functions and working teams from around the world. We developed a 'Best-fit allocation algorithm' to ensure that the complex rules and settings were adhered to while seamlessly selecting the appropriate equipment and facilities correct for each booking request.
Fully managed and hosted service
Supporting the design and development of the broadcast media booking platform, Tinint provided a fully managed service to support the 2014 Commonwealth games. Providing hosting services with proactive up-time monitoring, ticketing support service and a dedicated support team on-site. Helping host broadcaster SVGTV deliver award winning coverage of the games.
