Tinint has a long standing supplier relationship with the department for Education and Skills in producing Welsh and Bi-lingual teaching resources to schools. Aimed at both Teacher led classroom delivery as well as direct engagement from pupils in school or at home, our resources span Foundation phase to FE audiences across multiple subjects and themes.
A brand created by us, ‘Fflic a Fflac’ is the most comprehensive and successful Foundation phase resource which supports the teaching of Early Years and Key Stage 1 education through the medium of Welsh. Led by our two cuddly characters, The resource is split into 4 levels each containing both print and digital materials with supporting teachers notes and curriculum mapping.
With our Broadcast infrastructure and relationships, we sort to expand upon the original resource and were successful in getting the video based learning content licensed for broadcast delivery on S4C. Subsequently the 22 x 5 minute shows air as an integral part of the weekend Learning hour slot and are available through iPlayer for catch-up.
The project has delivered exceptional value for investment for S4C and continues to deliver against the remit of DfES in helping to raise standards of Education for the children and young people of Wales.
